Our selection criteria is simple; the accommodation and services provided must be of an exceptional and consistent high standard. We have our own research team dedicated to finding the “best-of-the-best” and we also reference high quality review publications to find suitable places worthy of inclusion. Our directory is strictly limited to 100 entries and can be searched using different settings, and it’s not all about price . . we list some very reasonable Guesthouses that still manage to reach our criteria.

We take great pride in being independent and not allowing any advertising on our website. Our aim is to provide a reliable and trustworthy overview of what we consider to be the best Hotels that are available in Devon. We only charge the hotels a very small nominal fee for providing our page listings purely to cover our staff costs and our inspectors fees. We decide who is listed and it’s by invitation only once we have researched, visited and inspected the premises.
